The World Health Day theme 2024 is ‘My Health, My Right‘, which aims to establish the fact that health is also a human right and every individual should have access to good quality healthcare services and education. There is an art competition for the same where people can showcase the theme through their artwork.

We have ample ideas on how we can celebrate World Health Day. Why a day? It can be a routine 365 days as Health is a Prime Concern. Every human has a right to keep fit and be healthy. It’s a Choice to be made and as Gandhiji said, “You are what you eat” – Eat right, Eat healthy and let your kids choose to eat healthy.

Here are five ideas to follow

EXERCISE :

1.Make it a routine – walk, cycle, jog, yoga, dance or what exercise that makes you sweat and feel good. Exercising and adding physical activity to your daily routine is one of the easiest ways to enhance your overall health and boost immunity and cardiovascular health.

2. Use Copper Bottles and stop the Plastic ! Stay Hydrated. The benefits of copper is that it is aiding the digestion process, stimulating thyroid function, improving brain function and preventing anaemia.

3.Eat Right. Eat Organic Food. Add Millets to your diet.Switching to A2 ghee and organic honey can be highly beneficial and the environment. In addition, adding superfoods like jowar, foxtail millet and Bajra benefits  your overall health and increases your immunity to fight different illnesses.

4. Avoid Junk – stop the fried snacks. This is a healthy alternative to balance diet. These are the cheat food and unhealthy for all.

5. Practice mindful activities – Reading, Yoga, breathing exercises  exercises that not only help reduce stress but also improve focus, and enhance your emotional well-being. 

A MESSAGE TO MOMS : On this World Health Day, Give yourself and your family and Kids – Right to be Healthy. Stop the Junk, Stop the packet food – outside food as priority – Set the Limits to such snacks and food – go for healthy food cooked at home – clean and fresh. Go stress free and your kids and family will be free from stress and anxiety. Exercise and go forMindful activities.

Keep limits to TV, Mobile, ipad use and free for open fresh air. Technology will stay to demand 24×7 but it is in our hands to limit the use.

Just think – when did you last see the sun, moon and the stars? When do you enjoy nature ?

Diseases and disasters loom large as causes of death and disability. Conflicts are devastating lives, causing death, pain, hunger and psychological distress.

It is our Responsibility to take care of our own Health – This day, 7th April is a reminder that we are humans and god has sent us on Earth for specific purpose. So, as long as we live, nurture ourselves and people we love in our family by providing Health Diet, Safe Environment and Healthy Mind minus Stress, anxiety and diseases.
