Hridaan reads along The Three Little Pigs. His All time Favorite- a classic fable that wins kiddie hearts. The Three Little Pigs was first included in The Nursery Rhymes of England (London and New York – 1886), by James Halliwell -Phillipps. The story in its arguably best-known form appeared in English Fairy Tales by Joseph Jacobs, first published on June 19, 1890, and credited Halliwell as his source. There are various versions but this one, uses literary ‘ rule of three’ – the third pig’s brick house turns out to be adequate to withstand the wolf.
The moral of the story is:
- Hard work pays off and dedication is the key to success.
- Laziness has its drawback too.
- It also tells one to be practical and not do things in haste.
- Life is a struggle so keep aways from bad habits and people.
Hridaan finds this story very amusing and is sure, all kids will love this tale. This is in Association to Ahmedabad Book Club @ahmbookclub on Instagram (Ahmedabad Book Club )
