Each time you visit Google, you see a logo on its homepage www.google.com. Google makes it interesting with its various theme logos.They do fun things with logos and call it a #doodle.
Every year, Google invite bright young minds to come and share their imagination and creativity by designing their own doodle and call it #Doodle4Google .
This year, India’s Doodle4Google theme is “A place in India I wish to visit.” And now, it’s time for voting to help Google select the doodle which will go on their homepage on *Nov 14th – Children’s Day.
Google has announced 12 final doodles and they are up for voting at: http://www.google.co.in/doodle4google/ – The Public voting ends on November 10, 2014. The final Award celebrations for the 3 group winners and overall winner will be on 12th November 2014 and the winning Doodle will be displayed in the Google India Homepage on 14th November 2014.

Certificate of achievement
A Chromebook laptop
Doodle will be publicly displayed in a gallery on the website www.google.co.in/doodle4google
National winner will recieve:

A 3 night-4 day trip with his/her parents, to the place in India he/she has doodled
National Winner’s Google Doodle will be displayed on the Google India homepage on 14th November 2014
Judging Criteria
Doodles are judged based on the following three criteria:
Artistic Merit: The quality and skill demonstrated in the doodle. The student’s class group is considered when evaluating this criteria.
Creativity: How well the student incorporated the Google logo into his or her illustration. The logo must be readable. Unique and creative uses of the letters, background, foreground, etc. are all taken into account.
Theme Communication: How clearly the competition theme is expressed in both the artwork and the written statement.
