for nations’ and if we think over this we do have a say here that ‘If
politicians wish to make this world a paradise, sure it is in their hands – just they
have to Arise, awake and stop not till the goal is reached like Swami Vivekanand said!
But, afterall, in the first instance the goal is to be set in the right direction as where
there is no vision, the people perish! After
a worst hit calamity, the people of Gujarat rose to stand tall to face challenges and here
again, the trail continues with Religion fanatic triggering for a revolutionary conflict
over the Ayodhaya temple issues creating conflicts and hatred between communities!
Politicians, undoubtedly would be torn between losing power because people are fed up with
poverty, corruption, degraded education, political gimmicks, community clashes and so on
and faces a choice less choice to combat the more awaiting threat of Economic crisis! - Editor, Kidsfreesouls
Mankind is moving towards a dangerous period where there is not turning the clock back. The forces unleashed are swirling around in the hands of people in power who don’t even know that consciousness exists! Osho once said “If Politicians disappear, there is no need for nations” When the people on Power clamor for the unity of the nation, it seems as though they have nothing to do with the breaking the unity, that they are very innocent people. But these are the very people who are responsible for dividing the country apart! It is their utter selfishness which is the cause of this division; otherwise India is one. It’s the politicians that make the people go insane for anything – for being a Hindu, muslim, Christian,etc said Osho. When people go insane, he becomes stronger. The politician is the most inferior person on earth who thinks himself to be superior. Many people think that Osho was a weird person who had his own vision and his own say. All a common man would dream is to ‘Live and let live’ and not face the threats of insecure living! Division and classification of nations, differentiate in religion and gods is all in the minds of people who have acknowledged the system. It’s now in the hands of the people in power to focus on a better world and heal the pain. No longer can man remain a puppet on a chain, afterall. Equality of impoverishment nationwide is predicted as people are fed up with poverty, corruption, cash crunch and so on. This is going to lose faith in the people who possess the power to rule and they would have to face yet again, a choice less choice to combat the fury of people this time. Rober Burns said “ Man’s inhumanity to man makes countless thousands mourn” and so, it sometimes creates a nostalgia for those mythical “good old days” when one used the paisa and anna to buy things and children can be fooled into believing in ghost stories, god and fairies in the heaven! At least this inhumanity would not exist with the simple living and simple thinking way. God made man, man made money and then, Money made man mad and how very true, Man build nations and science turned the whole world in a small global village. Nations were ruled by power and whoever on that power chair had a voice of its own to harp their way towards development and building strong communities. They could make a heaven or a hell out of it, build paradise or doom the world – it’s the Power of understanding and control! The world changes affect not just the politicians and their power but the many vested interests crumbling the world of national and psychological boundaries that divide humanity. Its not unity and integrity anymore! The reaction is obvious. The Germans call for Indian programmers, China dumps its toy market here, Australia offers great deal of courses and politicians everywhere see the writing on the wall. How best to rally support and stay in power? Simple is then the blame, pulling the legs and hide and seek games people play! The Tehelka scams, the Builders allegation, Market swindle, Ayodhaya issue and there are solutions to problems soon thereby. The mind, with its mechanical habit of rewinding thoughts all the day long, hate changes and everything seems to be a part of the ‘System’. So, the politicians make way to stir people up, creating fears and insecurities to some and hope, faith and peace to some! Days go by, problems create and solutions handy. Who cares? Not the common man, after all! The rapid changes do provoke real concerns and then we realize “Why we spend five years training a Doctor to hand out penicillin and yet have no such training for those who wield power? This means the technology is ahead of the inner wisdom and consciousness. One can only feel that the problem is ‘We’ the people who run to give the votes and elect the people and collectively give them the power to rule and brush off to exclaim “I voted this guy…he is less corrupt’ which means, you are knowingly choosing to give the power in the hands of people you are not sure of. A White House inscription says “ May none but honest and wise men ever rule under this roof” and like the “Satyamev Jayate” our very own slogan, Let the truth prevail. Banish hate, greed and desire and let there be truth, purity and unselfishness. Arise to face the challenges to quote “When the rock is hard, we get harder than the rock, When the job is tough, we get tougher than the job” and this is when the stumbling blocks become the stepping stones for the people with Power. It’s the need of the hour to believe in ‘Oneself’ and believe in the things that you can do for yourself and the Nation. The
