In their
religious goals, men do not differ from one another, no matter where they live and when.
All seek favor and protection against dangers of life. They pray for courage in hour of
conflict, comfort in time of grief, guidance in daily concerns. They release pangs of
conscience. There are six great Religions: Hinduism, Buddhism, Chinese, Islam, Judaism and
Christianity. Some have similarities but all six obviously have supplied answers to some
of the great questions raised in every human mind by the mystery of life. All of them help
men to bear their sorrows. They all tell men how to live, give assurance in the presence
of death. Every Religion has noble teachings and lofty moral goals. As Osho says "God
has been talked about in every corner of the world but God has remained far away, beyond
the stars. Only India has established that God is within man. And in realizing that God
within man, only India has given man the capability, the dignity and the beauty to be
himself becoming the temple, the shrine. How every being can become a temple and how each
being in each moment can become a prayer - this you can call my Dream" Leaving aside
our Religious Differences, the World can be a Better Place on earth and spread the message

Those who seek to please god are assured of the sixteenth surah that they will be guided by him to the ‘paths of peace’ and according to Koran, God does not love fasad or violence. This is action which results in disruption of the social system, causing huge losses in terms of lives and property.Gita says ‘Let him be my great devotee but if he injures a soul, his offerings I reject’ |
Peace is at every doorstep. Just knock and you find a way to peace if really you want. It’s the decisions that solely matters. Moment by moment we choose whether to feel love or hate, whether to attack or forgive, whether to see truth or illusion. Each choice determines our perception of the meaning and purpose of our lives and each choice is a decision for or against peace. Peace is build on the foundations that we lay in our lives. It is hard to imagine a world free of conflicts but do we need to give up hopes, just stand and stare? Absolutely, no way! For three hundred years, religion has been losing its territory continuously. First, it attempted to destroy science. It possessed the domains of the world near and far. Like science proves and adds to the facts, religions try to prove they are right. Religion is defensive and in the name of God, faith exists but far too long, we have been hating and fighting. Its time to tackle real issues and build a temples to tolerance, understanding and love. War is violence. Violence rear violence to crush humanity. Humans have possessed a nature to destruction losing the control of the mind as egoism surfaces up. Common people crave for peace and have raised concerns to spread the message but it’s in the air deep rooted with differentiates with greed, corruption, beliefs and their protests go unheard by the so-called saviours of the nation.It is utter failure as who created the world doesn’t matter. All matters is who governs with a chaos leadership quality! The question stands clear that every concealment of acts of hatred leads to fresh crime. Acknowledgement of responsibility and expression of regret could help bring a healing. The world cloaks in darkness and the stealer of souls, Satan creep into the innocent souls to flicker the fires of flames within.
Be it Gita or Islam, all religions convey a message of peace. World is charged with two movements based on love, mainly to reform human beings to awaken feelings of generosity and well being to humans and walk on path of truth. This becomes a driving force to build up moral and socially upliftment in walk of life. The second path is based on hatred. Enemies engulf each other and possess overriding desire to wipe off themselves. Koran says ‘Do not commit evil in the land’ and Gita says ‘Let him be my great devotee but if he injures a soul, his offerings I reject’ God is provoked with the cries of the shattering peace, of innocent souls, the columns of smoke from fires and hate choking the air letting the sun go down. It’s like a cat and mouse game. A fight to finish and see which god wins? Who cares? Not all, the State goes backwards, the nation becomes a loser. When you read the Book of Job, the attempt is to answer the problem of evil and man must endure his suffering with unswerving loyalty. Its human who themselves, dig their graves and when there is this lack of tolerance, anger has to be tamed and this is when forgiveness helps which spreads peace. Healing relationships are to be developed to let go of the past, with its burden of guilt and grievances and to awaken to the present. This establish true communication, experience love and recognize inner self with true religion and real god. Angry outbursts become a way of feeling expression as it vents out hate and revenge. It’s the inborn traits of being highly sensitive, self absorbed, defiant, aggressive personality who is prone to outbursts with ‘anger triggers’ outwardly or inwardly feeling alone, lost, rejected, avoided, unjustified. The sarcastic remarks makes it way, conflict makes way with differences and opinions vary when it’s the peak when you blow up and its time for taming the dragon ‘temper’ and gear back to control. Inner peace is to be recognized first to remove the obstacles and when we become the instruments of peace, we should be willing to learn, to teach, to give and especially to forgive. The way to peace is open and one needs to unlock the doors of your own heart to let the soul vision light. Languish in dreams of pain and conflict. Make way for peace and it comes but when the mass is on a move to rampage, it’s a hopeless situation to encounter and this is when faith in god stirs up to follow his path of love and walk to heal the pain through his way of soul searching. Its time to self monitor and check those blues and shrug off bitterness in the heart. In the name of faith, let not god be ashamed of our own deeds, lest his wrath may ruin the world as we envisage dark shades of terror, destruction, natural and man made calamities during the recent times.
And finally, all said and done - the things of earth shall pass away, ashes to ashes and dust to dust. As the purans say, Kali Yug is here and like the story of Noah, God may have to rebuild the whole Universe. Who Knows! Who made the creation is the supreme power nobody has encountered so far and its he who has to balance the earth that is in his control, after all.
