FEAR SYNDROME – A Nightmare!

The Earthquake conjured images of appalling destruction, horrifying death and people made homeless in thousands. Humans cannot abate the fury of the nature as it swirls around to engulf them with its claws. Now with the man-made NYC disaster on September 11, Kidsfreesouls sympathize for the victims and pray heavenly peace for the departed souls. We can build a ray of hope and support a mission to help the stranded people. Our hearts & prayers go out to them. Maybe, our little Prayers too, may heal the pain. Osho once said ‘ Man has the capacity, the intelligence, the freedom to explore and if you have explored the nature properly than you have come home. Nature is your Home.’ Nature affects every dimension of our lives but than whoever build the Heavens must be looking down upon the Earth and must be thinking ‘Gosh! What a mess I have made!’ – this reviving the memories of Noah to feel the ‘Ups and downs’ are just another part of  Life, anyway.

Keep the faith.

Stop feeling the blues – Freeze the Fear Phobia

The fear phobia is the panic that grips the mind to zoom and spin off to a nightmarish experience. It is a mental state of mind when anxiety pops off ‘What will happen’ and than creates thoughts, which has a negative influence. It is like a irrational phobia which makes a person uncertain and confused what would be the impact and outcome of the future happening.  Mild anxieties can be beneficial in that they can arouse and motivate a person to be fully prepared but excessive anxiety leads to stress and traumatic experience making a person mentally depressed and fearful. Fear cripples the mind and strengthens the sense of insecurity. The danger of falling from a cliff or a great height reflects a healthy sense of reality but a panicky preoccupation with heights can prepare a person from working and staying in a tall building or vacationing in the mountains! Especially when they have really faced the edge of it! Anticipated and imagined danger or a case of negative thinking is the brain problem which is termed by psychologist as a ‘Fear phobia’ Fears are classified in three general kinds like the agoraphobia, actually a complex group of fears involved with being in public places, simple phobias and social phobias. 60% people fear from agoraphobia or call it panic at being in a place they consider it unsafe. They turn themselves to believe that something wrong will happen which makes them nervous and frightful. Many people who narrate their experiences of the Earthquake or the NYC disaster, their hands would go clammy, their knees would shake, eyes would blur, feel fearful and have nightmares making them feverish. These panic symptoms are typical of all phobias. This is the result of a terrifying experience but than it does not mean that calamity would strike again for the worse! Some phobias run in families and is a pass-on inheritance from the parents. Anxieties in childhood are fears of darkness and of being left alone and this lives on and remains on back of mind, which gets alert in times of insecurities. Psychologists use a variety of techniques, all of which try to demonstrate that there is nothing intrinsically fearful about the dreaded situation. In one method, called desensitization, therapists begin by teaching the patient how to relax completely and to do so on command. The patient imagines the situation and gradually led to the point of physically confronting his fear. The food for thought is a supplement to keep anxiety levels in control and the right way is to keep busy, keep happy and accept the situation with a positive vision that ‘Nothing will happen now’. A strong faith build within would have a positive influence and a block out of the irrational anxiety and fear. This fear would not only make a person weak but be a stumbling block to others and like rumors, the fear panic would pass on an infection to the minds of other people around.  Minds rule on a free floating impulse and have the individual power of thinking – positive or negative. This is when anxiety clasps its arms wide making calculations of the events of the past and lets one lurk in darkness of a future! To see a bright sun is absolutely in your own hands, after all!

People worldwide are found to be anxious.  It so happens that the more fearful and anxious are the losers and the winners who typically ignored their anxiety could concentrate on what they had to do. Think positive. Negative thoughts would bring in more insecurity. Controlled fear by breaking into an activity that suits best and the shaken faith will regain its charm. Anxiety creates the myth that we can’t function properly. It is required only to perform with a jumpstart and results would be better than you think.

bd10265_.gif (308 bytes) Turn anxiety into energy :

Nervous situations pumps up any time. It might be a public debate or a business presentation or acting or just living through. The trick is to let the nerves work. Keep cool. Keep active and keep busy are the key to open the optimistic levels of closed door of the mind. Focus on presenting ideas with force and conviction they deserve. View the problems differently – as ‘good’ rather than ‘bad’ – You reduce anxiety by believing in yourself and having the courage to express your feelings. Revitalize your energy and find a work that you can involve to keep your charms alive. Nagging is the worst kind and so don’t let this happen to you that you keep pinching the others. Your nervousness may become a problem for others too.
